Dissection’s Bloodlust
During my time in college my roommate and I were in the same dorm room, and I was reading a book called “The Satanic Rituals of Dracula.” The book had an awesome cover, but I couldn’t get past the name. Despite my reluctance, the book was interesting, and I learned a lot from it, including that Dracula was a fictional character based on the infamous vampire Dracula.
Similarly, my roommate and I spent a lot of time studying forest gods, and other occult signs, and I learned a lot about talismans and spells from the book. I also learned a few tricks of the trade, including the secret to creating a magical talisman from the woods, and I learned about the proper use of the magic wand.
Coven’s Witchcraft Destroys Minds & Reaps Souls
Several years ago I had a dream interpretation of my college roommate reading a Satanic ritual book. It was very disturbing. After the dream, I went to see my roommate and she told me what had happened. She told me that the book contained a spell that would destroy any human who didn’t have a piece of it. She said that this was a very dangerous spell and the cost of breaking the curse would be greater than any witch or human could pay. I didn’t think this would be so dangerous. But it is.
I’m not a fan of this kind of thing. I like a book that is written with a clear understanding of the characters and the background of the story. I also like a book that is witty and has a great narration. I’m not sure if Sara Farizan is a fan of writing horror stories, but I think she is a great author. She has created insightful characters and an entertaining narration. This book will keep you riveted until the final twist.
Another author I would like to mention is Diana Urban. Her book These Deadly Games is a very good sophomore novel. In this book, Brynn races to solve supernatural murders of coven members. She uncovers secrets about Saint Ambrose, Tripp Talbot, Mr. Larkin and others. She must find the killer before they are the next victims. She doesn’t know if she’ll survive, but she’s determined to do whatever it takes to solve the mystery. It’s going to take more than her and her friends can handle.
There is also a book called Our Crooked Hearts by Melissa Albert. It is a dark contemporary fantasy that will leave you thinking about a lot of things. It is written by a writer who has written the novels The Grace Year and The Handmaid’s Tale. It’s a good read, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who hasn’t read her other books.
